After purchasing a Toyota Tundra from Carvana I came to Modesto Toyota for a post-purchase used vehicle inspection. Marian was extremely polite and efficient. Modesto Toyota has a courtesy shuttle service for customers in the service department. I chose to remain at the dealership where I found they had adequate and comfortable seating, ample electrical outlets, and complimentary Peet’s Coffee (espresso, cappuccino, etc). My vehicle inspection was thorough and after several hours Marian called me back to the counter to give me a straightforward assessment of the vehicle. I explained that I wanted all findings thoroughly documented so that I could file a maintenance claim with Carvana and she was completely understanding and worked with me in order to articulate the vehicles needs in a way that expressed the diagnosis more appropriately for an insurance claim report. The diagnosis required I leave the vehicle overnight for further assessment. I returned the next day and checked in with Marian who was just as pleasant as the day before. On that particular day, Modesto Toyota was holding a pet adoption event within the showroom. There were numerous puppies, exotic birds and reptiles, and even a few turtles. Marian asked for 10 minutes to get my paperwork in order, and mentioned that they also had free all-you-can-eat tacos if I was hungry. I spent the next 10 minutes slaying tacos (delicious btw), looking at cool animals, and sipping Peet’s Coffee until my paperwork was ready. Overall I had a GREAT time hanging out at Modesto Toyota: lounging in their chairs playing on my phone, sipping good coffee, smashing tacos and petting puppies.. 5 stars for the atmosphere. 5 stars for Marian’s customer service: Pleasant. Personable. Straightforward. Efficient. Positive. I would work there.
